First off, I don’t want to be conceited,
I like you that much for me to think
It’s not about me but about what you want.

Second, I’m not playing games,
I’m just making sure it’s about us.
Though I’m confident, I can still end
Up feeling humiliated and hurt: you might not
Return the feeling and that all these
I’m seeing and feeling might be play.

Now, I’ll assume it’s about you and me.

Third, what comes out my
Mouth are well thought of
Words. I’ve learned in this life
To take care of the words that I
Drop, please don’t assume that
I don’t mean them.

Fourth, is it not obvious
That I’m willing to “risk”
For you?
